YOU WILL FEEL SEEN, HEARD & HELD
I pay attention to what’s happening beneath the words :) the pauses, facial expressions and emotional tone that reveal how safe or overwhelmed someone feels in that moment.
Many people come to therapy saying they struggle with anger, anxiety or difficult relationships. What I often see underneath are early attachment wounds and nervous systems that have learned to stay on high alert.
I will help you understand yourself more deeply, regulate your nervous system and slow things down enough for patterns to become visible. From that place, change becomes steadier not forced and relationships can begin to feel safer and more connected.

Frequently Asked Questions
06
How do I prepare for my first session?
There’s nothing specific you need to prepare. You don’t need to organize your thoughts or know exactly what to say. Just come as you are and we’ll take things at your pace and begin wherever feels easiest.
07
How often should I attend therapy?
Most people begin with weekly sessions, especially at the start. Over time, frequency can be adjusted based on your needs, goals and capacity.
08
Is what I share in therapy confidential?
Yes. Everything you share in therapy is kept confidential and treated with care and respect. The only exceptions are situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others or when disclosure is required by law. These limits to confidentiality will always be explained clearly.
09
What if I want to pause or stop therapy?
You’re always free to pause or end therapy at any time. If possible, we can use a closing session to reflect on the work and support a thoughtful ending but there’s no obligation to continue.
01
What if I don’t know how to put my feelings into words?
That’s very common. You don’t need to explain yourself perfectly. We can work with sensations, pauses, emotions and what feels unclear. Often, language comes after you feel understood.
02
How do I know if I actually need therapy right now?
If something feels emotionally heavy, repetitive or hard to manage on your own, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis or have a diagnosis - curiosity, distress or a sense of “something isn’t right” is reason enough.
03
What if I feel overwhelmed, emotional or shut down during sessions?
That’s okay and expected for many people. We slow things down, focus on grounding and make sure you feel emotionally safe. Therapy is not about pushing through, it’s about learning how to stay present with yourself.
04
Do I need to have a “big problem” to start therapy?
No. You don’t need a crisis or major life event to begin therapy. Many people start because they feel emotionally stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected or simply curious about understanding themselves better. If something matters to you, it’s worth exploring.
05
What happens in the first session?
We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you’re hoping for. I may ask questions to understand your emotional patterns, relationships and history, but there’s no pressure to share everything at once.
